Although the whole cast are great:

spaced-cast.jpg

Al Swearengen - Deadwood
Doc Cochran - Deadwood
Jack Bauer - 24
Sayid - Lost
Veronica Mars
Wayne Malloy (aka Doug Rich) - The Riches

My favorite characters tend to be of the badass persuasion. Or are played by transvestites.

My top 10 - in no particular order

Lenny Briscoe - Law and Order
Al Bundy - Married With Children
Arthur Fonzarelli (The Fonz) - Happy Days
Ralph Cramden - the Honeymooners
Lucy Ricardo - I Love Lucy
Jack McFarlane - Will & Grace
Jack Gallo - Just Shoot Me

and 3 for the price of one....

Larry, Daryl & Daryl - Newhart

And one special mention - Frank Barrone - Everybody Loves Raymond.

And a lifetime achievement award:
Barnabas Collins - Dark Shadows

One of mine used to be- Jamie Somers - The Bionic Woman and the 6 million dollar man- Steve Austin. I don't know now I haven't seen them in so long.

Brian Kinney (Queer as Folk) - I'm sorry, this is the hottest man to ever grace a television. Not to mention the character had a lot of depth underneath the oversexed exterior.

Willow Rosenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)- One of the reasons I started watching Buffy, and one of the reasons I started giving it real scrutiny. May even be doing my thesis (fingers are crossed) on the show. I love the very open portrayal of a lesbian character without slipping into cliche or sensationalizing her in any way. And also, one of the best arcs on the show, along with Wesley and Andrew (both runners-up. God I love Andrew)

Benjamin Linus (Lost) - for sheer creepy badassery. He is awesome, and I hate him/love it. Also, points for Michael Emerson seeming like such a total sweetheart in real life.

Gregory House (House M.D.) - Does this on require any explanation?

Karen Walker (Will and Grace) - so morally reprehensible and vicious, so bitterly sarcastic, such a delightfully catty character. The acidity the show really needed. LOVE her.

Gil Grissom!!

no particular order...

Pheobe Buffay
Cristina Yang

Stuie Griffin (Family Guy)
Ross Geller (Friends)
Teabag (Prisonbreak)

Oh sorry, umm it's calle Rules of Engagement, it's a US sitcom, we get it here with Back to You.

Yes he's got a really deep voice and is just, in my opinon, terrible.

Funny - I liked him / his character in Seinfeld but, you're right - he's rubbish in Rules of Engagement . . . the whole show is an absolute shocker! :changes channel:
