Favorite Spring flower

Mine are Daffodils. When I see them blooming I know that Spring has definitely arrived.

Lavender lilacs. Too bad they only last for a few weeks.

i live way out in the middle of the nevada desert. i went for a walk today, into the hills, because the wildflowers are all beginning to bloom...purple and yellow and white...they are so beautiful, so out of place in this rough terrain. it's too bad that they won't last very long.

My favorite spring flower is also the daffodil because they are so cheerful and bright yellow. They make excellent cut flowers. If you buy them while they are still in bud and put them in warm water they have usually opened by the time you wake up the next morning so you enjoy the full course of their bloom. And they last for at least a week.
