Radiohead right after Ok came out at the Electric factory in Phila as well.
Sarah mclachlan at the Tower and at the Mann with the Chieftains unplugged.
John Willims at the Mann too.

Michael Jackson with The Jacksons, 1984 I think. Neyland Stadium, Knoxville. For the spectacle alone.

Wilco, A Ghost is Born tour in Memphis. Jaw-dropping, surreal, and multi-/extrasensory.

Sunny Day Real Estate, Rising Tide tour, Memphis.

Mutemath, Memphis, this year. New, albumless band that blew me away. I need to see them again to make sure it wasn't something I ate. Their ep is mediocre, but the live show was spectacular.

Madonna - Re-Invention Tour - Lisbon September 2004

It was amazing... I was not expecting something like that, 'cause I thought she sang very badly and it was just another pop-music show...

PJ Harvey at Palais Theatre in Melbourne, 2004. The venue was probably a bit too plush and formal for such raw, visceral music... but what music...

Nick Cave & Bad Seeds, this March.

For me, this is a hard one, but I'd say Bruce Springsteen, front row (in front of Little Steven ) on The Rising tour, 2002.
:jealous:

REM/Grant Lee Buffalo, 1995
Billy Bragg (every single tour)
Jeff Buckley (so lucky to have seen him on his second, and last, Aussie tour )

and

Duran Duran, 1982

YUP! That show was at the Vic but I actually preferred the first Neil solo gig I saw better, 7/9/02 at the Park West, smaller venue, slightly better setlist, + Lisa Germano on violin & keyboards (more "7 Worlds Collide" themed). Neil is always terrific in concert, personable and very down to earth.

PJ Harvey and Doves are also great live...should have mentioned them in my honorable mentions...
