What are your favorite movie picture soundtracks from the past year?

My favorites have been:

1. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Beautiful, haunting, and just one of the best I've heard in a while.

2. Chocolat
Loved the movie, and the soundtrack just really fits.

3. Gladiator
I'm a great fan of sweeping orchestral pieces.

4. M:I 2
The track "Injection" still sends a chill down my spine. (To clarify, this is music from the actual movie, not the inspired by stuff.)

5. The Patriot
John Williams is an absolute genius.

The Adventures of Safety Man
(A yet to be made movie in which my cousin portrays a hero supsiciously resembling Adam Clayton's PopMart wardrobe. It's really silly stuff, we are idiots!)

Yes, the King is gonna be a star!!

I don't know about America but the MDH soundtrack was released in Australia and Europe in 2000. It's sublime so if you don't have it go and buy it now. Go on!

Yes, it seems like ages ago, but the MDH soundtrack came out in March 2000.
