I've tried to make such lists in the past and I find it just about impossible. Nonetheless, I'll give it a shot and create a list I'll probably take to pieces the second after I post it. I'm not going to include live stuff simply because I have too many bootlegs that it would make this task truly impossible.

1. U2 - The Unforgettable Fire
2. U2 - The Joshua Tree
3. Dream Theater - Awake
4. Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream
5. Passengers (aka U2) - Original Soundtracks 1
6. Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
7. Dream Theater - Images And Words
8. Anathema - Judgement
9. Dream Theater - When Dream And Day Unite
10. Porcupine Tree - Deadwing
11. Crowded House - Together Alone
12. U2 - Boy
13. Symphony X - The Divine Wings Of Tragedy
14. Split Enz - True Colours
15. Crowded House - Crowded House

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."
