Is that that new Neil Young song... Ohioi?

I mean I can see the U2 site keeping up with the Propaganda (why did they get rid of Propaganda anyway) idea of special compilations and tickets and such, but the rest of the stuff should be available to everyone.

Or, if they continue to do it the way they are now.. fuzzle some of that money into charities.. if they don't do that already. I'm not sure.

It's sad, though, that even the special compilations stink. Like U2 Communication seemed to be for the CASUAL fan. It's for fucking SUBSCRIBERS! You know, rabid fans. No casual's going to be forking out $40 for that. These are the people who'd APPRECIATE things like Gloria or Fast Cars, rather than the ten millionth live release of WOWY.

Greetings, Ali.

What's your alter, Alisaurus? Your long lost, equally geologically nerdy twin brother?

not to mention most subscribers probably already have all the tunes downloaded off torrents.

Speaking of which, I got my Slane stuff in the post yesterday. I was thinking the day before that it had been a month since I coughed up the $40 (yes, I'm an idiot), so it was about time the t-shirt/CD showed up.

Yeah, or ripped it from DVD with freeware you can get by using Google. It's not hard. The ZooTV and Slane CDs are just ... insults, really. I've had audio of Slane on CD since bloody 2003!
