Well not really, but 'The Walkmen' think so.
Anyone here a fan of this band? Their album, "Everyone Who Pretended to Like me is Gone", is quite good and will certainly appeal to a few people on Interference - their sound often gets compared to an early U2 (as well as the 'Velvet Underground,' 'Television' and 'The Talking Heads').
They cast a darker, more hypnotic and eerie spell than U2, and at times you feel as if your being pulled into some magical 3rd dimension portal by their talent. Try downloading 'We've Been Had' for a primer of their sound.
