Everyone loves U2!!

I was reading the bio of the lead singer of one of my favorite black metal bands Dimmu Borgir

His favorite bands are: Bathory,Devil Doll,Thorns,Chris Isaak, Wasp,Slayer, Venom,Monster Magnet,June Reactor,Astral Projection,Tangerine dream,Dark Throne, Immortal, U2 ,Jonny Winter etc

Just goes to show even Satanists dig U2 and even Chris Isaak.

My kids used to buy heavy metal magazines and they'd always say..."hey ma, so and so says they like and are influenced by U2".
I'd just say "of course"

with that guy referring to Chris Issak, it's probably just one song has a nice association for him, maybe "wicked games"?
I'm pleased to see Johnny Winter on the list
