Weller's an absolute God. Got "WildWood" remastered last week, and it drove me to all things Paul Weller in my collection. What a rock & roll band.

Loved the Jam ....but i love Paul’s solo material more.

My eyes nearly popped out my head when i saw an advert that the Jam had reformed and were touring ...... then i read the small print 'minus Paul Weller

Too true.

News of the World is one of my favourites that hasn't been mentioned yet. You've listed all the rest I think. Even if The Jam hadn't written all these fantastic songs and just done A Town Called Malice I think they'd still be fondly remembered. Has there ever been a catchier rock song written? As soon as I hear the opening seconds it makes me want to dance. No wonder they used it in Billy Elliott- it's perfect for it.

"22 Dreams" is scheduled for a June release. Rumors are it will
be a double album. There's your album of the year.

I've not listened to any of Paul's solo stuff. I lost him at Style Council. Maybe a relisten is needed. :hmm:

Wildwood.

Arguably the best rock & roll album released in the 90's. And usually a winning argument. A wonderful album.

Barely a hint of The Jam or Style Council in the sound.

It's a different person.

A true rebirth.

Double album.

Confirmed.

June.

What's wrong with The Style Council? I love them! Definitely a different sounding band, but still, so many songs that I love. "Cost of Loving" and "Confessions of a Pop Group" are two of my favorite albums of theirs.

"Have You Made Up Your Mind" has hit the airways.

It's this wonderful funk rock soul thingy.

Very cool tune.
