England-Croatia

playing tomorrow

at the mighty Portman Road

Kieron Dyer should be returning to the hallowed grounds, which is cool.

Republic of Ireland are playing Aus. tonight, that should be interesting.

i expect wesley sonck to score, holland to miss penalties, but still ultimately winning it with a stunning hattrick from gio van bronckhorst.

Exaggerating is an art, yertle. Although the bit about the Netherlands missing penalties is painfully accurate...

C ya!

Marty (who won't watch since he has a Rolling Stones concert tomorrow)

from what i saw on Sky Sports last night, they (Croatia) didn't appear to be fantastic.

speaking of not appearing to be fantastic, wtf is up with Michael Owen's new hair cut.

Michael Owen has a fantastic hair cut. But I'm biased.

I'm going thin on top so I buzz cut all the time. Beckham also looked great when he shaved his off.

3-1. i feel pretty proud though...here's what soccernet's live commentary is saying

These Suffolk folk showing the rest of the country how it should be done - no boos for the Croatian national anthem. Although it's such a dirge that it probably deserves at least a hiss. Thankfully, it's mercifully short.

Still, it's no booing. That must be a first anywhere in the UK.
