So, since the uploading won't have real distinct rules, I'll probably end up uploading 3 cds worth of music or so.

My suggestion is to make those three CDs worth of music but narrow it down to 80 minutes and then let people hear those extra CDs if they want. I want people to stick to 80 minutes.

...but there are no rules. People aren't required to download anything. I'd probably do one full cd of Starflyer, then 1.5 or so of 3 or 4 other artists who don't have as larger or varied a catalogue.

i'm gonna do 80, but as one of my artists is a dj with 1:30 second songs, there will be a lot of songs.

No, there is a rule and that is a limit of 80 minutes. That is the only rule. I don't want people having to download more than one CD for each person.

Anyway, the real reason I'm gonna do so much Starflyer is because of this simple fact: They have as much material as U2 did by 2000. Now, try to do this and only put on like 7 songs of U2 to introduce someone. That'd be pretty fucking hard to do.

No... there are no rules. This isn't a competition. Therefore all rules are void and null.

Yes there is one rule. It isn't a competition but there are rules. Just keep it to 80 minutes Tourist. It isn't fair that someone gets three CDs and another person gets one. Hold off on the CDs until there is interest in your artists.

I'll extend the length to two CDs but no further. Remember this is a taste or small introduction into an artist. You are not making full mix tapes for each artist. If you want to make on CD of Starflyer fine but then you only have one more CD worth for the rest of your artists.
