What Elvis fans have been wanting for ages is a special duet video. Lisa Marie did do a duet for the 25th anniversary special in Memphis 5 years ago, Don't Cry Daddy, but finally we have an official duet video of 'In The Ghetto' that was just released today specially for the 30th anniversary of The King's passing. It was one of her favourite songs by her father. She sounds absolutely great with him, especially the rich harmonies...unbelievable!

All proceeds will go toward the building of a Presley Place transitional housing development for underprivileged families in New Orleans.

I appreciate the sentiment behind the original recording, but it's a little...overdone? They play it on the oldies station almost every day, and my coworker & I can't help laughing each time it comes on.

Having seen this doesn't help either:

Don't know why it's without the video, but still funny.

This new duet with Lisa is nice and makes me laugh a little less.

The video looked kinda cheap and thrown together. I thought the babies took away from the song, so did the close up shot of Lisa Marie's mouth with spit strings, eeeeeuuwww. :madspit: Her voice would've suited an earlier song when his voice wasn't as thick and deep.

Elvis will always be king, alll the tacky publicity stuff like this just cheapens him though.

ELVIS rocks. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . both Presley and Joel the Interference king:rockon:

The blatant pitch correction on her vocals is disgraceful when put right up next to The King's original vocal track, to be honest
