Elvis !!!

I saw him in concert about 2 months ago. It was magnificent. Not only does he write excellent "I love you but I hate your bloody guts" songs, he can also write amazing "I hate you and your bloody guts even more" songs.

I Want You is still my favourite. It starts very sweet and then turns mean on you.

Edit: this thread urged me to get my Very Best Of Elvis Costello 2CD and play I Want You again... and again... and again.

I've had his 'Very Best Of' 2cd set for quite a while, I've started listening to it quite a bit more lately. It's quite good. I seem to like his earlier stuff much more than the recent things.
