Just saw on American Idol...and or heard the opening notes to ONE>> and who comes out to sing it Elliot Yamin...

Then ... Mary J.. came out and sang it with him.. same performance that she gave with B.. oy vey mama!


I never thought I would hear a U2 song on that show and was hoping I never would.. they had to go and ruin it! jeezzzzzzzzzzzz

i actually thought the performance was quite good. and i really don't see how a U2 song being used on AI is really much different from U2 songs being used in promos on ESPN or in bad movies (ie, "stuck in a moment" for "In her Shoes", and "elevation" for "tomb raider")....

I'm sorry but after seeing One performed live numerous times and hearing it at least over 100, IMO, they slaughtered it.

No one sings One like "B".
