Ed Harcourt

Well with meegannie and jkayet constantly telling us about how wonderfully brilliant this guy is for the past, well, two years or so, I finally decided to check his music out...

and it's really quite good. I dig greatly.

And yes I looked at the band index. I did.

I have Ed's "Here be monsters" and I really like it. I always mean to get more of his stuff.

I know a personal attack when I see one.

I'll check out the 2 songs of his that came on an Astralwerks compilation I have.

I just saw him live again for like the...I don't know...maybe 6th time or so?? He was especially moody. I find it awfully adorable though. He's amazingly talented, even if it is accompanied by yelling at the audience. At one point he said something along the lines of "oooh, do you want me to play 'run?' or 'yellow?' Or some other sappy song by a brit b/c we're all the same??"

By the way, I did listen to those 2 songs I promised I'd check out. The ones included were: 'Born in the Seventies' and 'This One's For You'. Of the 2, I definitely prefer 'Born in the Seventies', good tune.
