Electronic body music? Is that akin to farting through a vocoder?

Ok, I've heard of Breakbeat, Ambient, Trance, House, Techno, Drum 'n Bass, Dub, etc.

But what is EBM? Who are some bands/artists/djs that play EBM? And who are DAF?

Now you've stoked my curiosity.

I was a fan of Nitzer Ebb and Front 242 at one time. They were pretty great and some fine examples of EBM.

And for those who don't know what EBM is:

"Ahhh, I see," said the blind man.

Not really my thing, but a couple of my friends really liked some of those bands. My friend swears that, to this day, one of times she saw Front 242 was the absolute loudest, ear-splitting concert she's ever been to.
