Ahh my freshman year of college. When I discovered all this shit. I'm making a nostalgia mix or early 90's brit pop, 90, 91, 92. This was the music ringing from the dorm room as we smoked giant bongs. What did I forget? help me.

4. Twisterella / Ride
5. We are the beautiful / Chapterhouse
6. Mother Universe / The Soup Dragons
7. Not Sleeping Around / Ned's Atomic Dustbin
8. There's No Other Way / Blur
9. Really Scrape The Sky / Kingmaker
10.Taste / Ride
11.Movin' On Up / Primal Scream
12.The Size Of A Cow / The Wonder Stuff
13.The Concept / Teenage Fanclub
14.Rave down / Swervedriver
15.Lazy Day / The Boo Radleys

Oasis were recording demos then. So even though you couldn't have possibly heard it, you could use demo versions of "Columbia" or "Supersonic"

Ok, it's a stretch.

Yeah, I wanna avoid Oasis, Supergrass, Suede and that mid 90's lot. I know I'm forgetting stuff (damn weed). But thanks for the suggestion.

I dunno, it's hard for me to think that far back. Not because of drugs... but more because I was between the ages of 7-9 during those years.

damn, I'm old. 91-92 was a huge year for GNR, Metallica, The Cure, REM, U2, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Pumpkins, etc. But those guys are far from brit-pop.

Lush - Hypocrite
My Bloody Valentine - Only Shallow
Elastica - Stutter
Verve - On Your Own
The La's - There She Goes
Teenage Fanclub - Star Sign
Monaco - What Do You Want From Me (this one's from '97 though)

Happy Mondays - Step on, Wrote for luck,
Pulp - Babies, Lipgloss
Carter USM - Sheriff Fatman, Rubish
Mock Turtles - Can U dig it
Ocean Colour Scene - The day we caught the train
The Farm - Groovy Train, All together now
Primal Scream - Loaded, Come together
The Stone Roses - Fools Gold
Ash - Angel Interceptor

I think Mariah Carey had a big record around 1991.....

oh, and don't forget meat loaf's comeback CD in 1993.....

The Bigger Lovers-Casual Friday. Or The Bigger Lovers-I'm Here.

;) :)

They are brit-pop but they are not from the early 90's.
