Dumb sports question...

Hello and welcome to Fizz's dumb question of the day.

So there are lots of sports which are played in the US but not so much where I live - like American football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey and probably lots of others. So my question is - what time of year are those sports played? Like in the UK the football season is August through May. When are each of those American sports played?

Thank-you

Thank-you too.

Y'know the one reason I never get that interested in US sports is that I don't have any team to support. In the UK I have favourite teams based on where I live, or my family's favourite teams...but if I watch US sports it's just like "well that was a good game" and there's no "woohoo my guys won!" part.
