Incidentally, the washed out background is a rather good illustration of how I see at the best of times on sunny afternoons.

Ooooh. I can't tell exactly if it's Vodafone or Rod Laver, mainly because i have no idea myself.

I'm guessing it's Rod Laver. Memory tells me it's the one closer to the city end, and Vodafone is the one closest to Punt Road.

I'm sure if Ali were here, she'd know, but I think she's up visiting her parents in Castlemaine.

Wooosh, and into the City Loop it goes.

Trying to time this photo based on the approaching rumbling was a real fucking bitch to do.

I'm quite fond of this picture, at North Melbourne station with the Docklands precinct in the background.

Bonnie, you still around?

It just doesn't feel right posting picture after picture by myself without the conversation.

It's far too quiet for a Friday night.

Oh yeah, and I'm still here. Just in case you didn't get that.

Time for some photos in and around Melbourne, eh?

Here's Flagstaff Gardens, which is one of the inner city parkland precincts. This is from near the intersection of William and LaTrobe Streets, seen on one of the very few wet and dreary days of this year.

I like the contrast in this photo. You have the Dynon rail yards in the foreground, all industrial and whatnot, and behind it is the Melbourne Eye, part of the urban renewal of the Docklands precinct.
