I was wondering that too! Did those form instead of wings or does he have those too? When he grows up will he be able to get off the ground at all?

 4 legs bless him/her

He'd probably thrive here in our winter wonderland...all-terrain duck. I could train him to do coffee runs through snowdrifts :hmm:

I'm finding great irony in his name: Stumpy.

tight, i'm usin this for chump change (honors biology thing where we email the teacher news stories somehow related to science)

looks like it indeed has legs instead of wings... might be sad for the animal, but I think it's pretty interesting that these things happen naturally! (yes biology nerd speaking here!:nerd: )

They said it's a genetic mutation and that it happens very rarely. I wonder how many times this has happened before? Or how he was bred? :hmm:

oh four legs:ohmy: aw but still very cute! ..and maybe it is better with four legs than only two..
