I don't know about drumming technical stuff but the drummers I really noticed in bands (not counting Larry) are Keith Moon and Lars Ulrich.

Max Weinberg of course

And when I saw Paul McCartney on tour I thought his drummer was good, I know nothing technical about drumming but he had a good sound and he was very enthusiastic. I can't remember his name.

I like the Pumpkins, but love Jimmy Chamberlain.

And by far, my favorite is Stephen Perkins from Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros....listen to any song and he rocks, see him live and it's off the charts.

Honorable mention to Vinnie Paul from Pantera.
