Douglas Coupland Appreciation Thread
Anyone ever read anything by Douglas Coupland?__________________
A friend gave me "Life After God" last Christmas and i read it in only a matter of hours, which is amazing for me because usually i'm not very good at finishing books. It instantly became my favorite book to date. It is an excellent little book. It's very small and very short but it's also wonderfully insightful, heartbreaking, comical, and very sweet. It's also a very easy read and if, like me, you like pictures, this book is packed with wonderful little illustrations. I highly recommend it and urge you not to dismiss or judge it by its title (or its cover).
I've also read his more famous novel, "Generation X," which is also good, but in my opinion doesn't come close to "Life After God."
Any thoughts/comments/recommedations on these or other Coupland works would be much appreciated.

I didn't care for Generation X - but "Microserfs" is a real hoot.
Especially if you don't give a rats ass about Microsoft and would enjoy this backstory/office satire.
Here's to the few who forgive what you do
and the fewer who don't even care
