The patrons are real and more genuine.
A lot less pretenious folk are gathered there.

Usually drinks are a bit cheaper.

You can dress down.
Tall tales carry more weight there.
You can tell a sexy to F.Off w/o their panties getting in a wad.

what's up my diamondbrother!

i like to mix up the bars/clubs i go to. i always seem to enjoy myself more at the neighborhood pub. like you said the peeps seem more real.

later kid.

out.

Exactly boss.
Mix it up.

The high dollar clubs are fine, but you got the long lines and too much silicon and moose going on, somenites.
The neighborhood bars are good esp if someone wants to come over for a "sleep-over",your crib is right around the corner.

I was just in Palm beach last weekend, weather = 87 degrees = hot.

I am on my way to Scottsdale on Friday, what is the weather going to be like?

I really dont mind them, I've got some half decent ones near my apt, so I go pretty often, especially when I dont feel like getting all dressed up etc to go somewhere in town. And your right Diamond, everyone tends to be on the same level, a little more low key at this type of place. I met my boyfriend at a local dive, we get a kick out of telling people where we met because it usually gets a few odd looks.

I like places like that better. You can relax and not have to worry about things as much. For most of the same reasons you say. I am not into dressing up all the time and it does not feel like a meat market as much.

"My bar" is a total dive bar, and I love it. It's where all my friends go, the "artsy" bar, with bands playing every night. Plus all the bartenders know me and give me free drinks.

Here in Scottsdale Az-'America's Most Livable City'-( United States Mayor's Conf.)
high end clubs like this exist. They are a way of life. There are several a stone's throw away from my doorstep.
Depending on my mood I decide which one I will visit as they ARE ALL BENEATH ME.
