Yep, if you burn them, then re-import them, the protection goes away.
So if someone sends me a protected song, I can burn the protected song that I don't have the password for? Hell, if that's true, I won't have any problems with rights protected songs.

You could imagine a sort of advantage in stealing the work of soundtrack. It was like the playlist where you had three or more Life Aquatic songs and the cover came from the movie. You are playing off the work of others too much. You know what I mean?
I understand and agree with you, it's a crutch and I'm working on weening off of that a bit. Some of the songs, like the Aimee Mann track and Across 110th Street, I had heard before I knew they were from films and just classified them to where they were originally from, while others I heard from there. Even if the songs from other sources, I still think if they're used in a different way they stay fresh when you listen to them. The criticism is fair and well met, but I think the list itself stands separately from any other list I've done for these contests.

Regarding the list you mentioned, Life on Mars? has always been a favorite of mine, but the other 2 tracks were Life Aquatic-inspired - it was the catalyst for the concept I tried to develop.

I should stop taking this so seriously, but I feel like I'm being singled out.

He's my dad's all-time favorite guitarist. Need to check out more of his material.

Did you guys see how rude that Butterscotch character was in that "Any very political people here?" thread?

I'm glad that Sicy shut that thing down. I think he would have gotten out of control

Ahhhh. Mine's probably Jimmy Page. Anyway, I think this list is still getting an A-, but a weak ending will put it at a B+.

Mine too! Song Remains The Same clinches that for me every time.
