What I don't get is how Melbourne has separate Saturday and Sunday timetables. Now, that may have been justified when we were a pack of unenlightened people fearing vengeance from above and honouring the Sabbath and all that bullshit, but times change and now Sunday's just like Saturday, so why the fuck have a reduced timetable?

I think this is the best photo I've ever taken. Sure, the lighting isn't perfect, but talk about being in the right place at the right time! It's from about 5:30pm on 22 March along Wellington Parade; the top train is bound for Flinders Street Station while the bottom one is coming out of the City Loop, heading towards Jolimont.
