Dirty Pretty Things - No Basher's Welcome!

From the less publicized half of the Libertines.....I actually really like their album "Waterloo to Anywhere". Gentry Cove is a brilliant song.

They cancelled as openers for The Pogues.

Anyone know why?

Carl's broken arm perhaps? I thought they hired a new guitarist for that.

I finally picked up Waterloo to Anywhere the other day... and I must say, I'm really impressed.

I wasn't too big of a Libertines or Babyshambles fan (just because I wanted to resist all the hype... I'm changing my mind about that too, I think). So I don't really know why I picked up Waterloo the other day...

Anyway, I love the wit and "f*** you" attitude of most of the songs... "Blood Thirsty Bastards" has been stuck in my head for days now...

they are actually good, like Babyshambles, they have that Libertines sound

I enjoy this album well enough, sometimes I think it's easy to lose it between all the bands that sound the same, still good

I've yet to hear it but my friend in England is raving about it.
