if i were buying a car it'd be a piece of shit used thing, but my family. it's a dream to drive, so smooth. when we bought it (ours is like 2002 or something, early model pre-hatchback) my mom calculated savings at $2 a gallon and figured we'd come out almost even over the life of the car compared to an equivalent non hybrid. well now gas is $3 so we're on top

heh, yeah, i was in a good situation financially this time last year and could afford to buy a new car. although if it were now, i don't know if i'd buy a car at all.

lol i know. their life is full of drama it seems, although it's all self-inflicted. they don't have to have so many one night stands, etc. but the thing is he expects relationships to come out of them or something. and then he whines to me about crap that's happened, ask my advice, which i give him, and he doesn't follow it. (like many times i've said to leave the person alone for a few days and he's called them like five or six times that day, no joke...because they stood him up. wtf. i'm like take a hint!)

anyway, we became buddies through last.fm. i check it obsessively, but i look at my own shit 99% of the time. i occasionally glance at what my friends on there listen to, but i don't harass people if i see them scrobbling and they're not iming me.

People who need to bring attention to themselves that way are pretty pathetic. I know this kid on another forum, we got to become pretty good pals, but I swear, any time he does anything even remotely debaucherous, he just HAS to tell me all about it. And he's fucking younger than me. It's sad. I can only hope they get it together, and the same with your stalker dude. They just seem to get off on torturing themselves and bringing it up later.

we have 2 friends we never wanna talk to after college

1 i've complained about before, he dangles stuff and wants you to ask questions, is totally fake and is going through the motions of friendship, is really materialistic, and sexually harassed a friend of ours and practically raped another guy i know.

1 only talks about 4 things: socialist politics/economics (she's never taken an econ course), portland (she's from there) and the west coast and why they're superior, how perfect her boyfriend is, and india (where she studied abroad and wants to go back). she is a total caricature of herself and always brings the serious/unfun/boring to a dinnertime conversation and will lecture you/regurgitate something from class/talk at you.

Though I'll just stick with the small pillow I've been using. It's all silky and nice and matches my comforter
