Yes! My boss is like a really good friend of mine... so like 2 months ago I went and got a new job with better pay and I liked it a lot more... but she called me and texted me and offered me a raise to come back so I finally did cause Im too nice and I felt bad... but now its like a 20 min. drive to work and I want a job closer to home but I feel bad for quitting.

Haha, lazy ... I approve. I keep thinking "you know, Melbourne's better than Queensland ... but in Queensland, it didn't take me half an hour to get to university. It took five minutes. I should totally move closer or something." So I see where you're coming from! :lol:

No not lazy just just.... not wanting to drive that far. lol. And I work with Ashley and we fight a lot at work... so we probably shouldnt work together. :lmao:

Yeah... Theres all this construction on the main road to get to my job to and it doesnt seem like their doing anything to it except holding up traffic.

Itll be about another week probably... so you should probably wait.. Weekold popcorn probably doesnt taste that great.

Got to love construction projects that take forever. I'm convinced the council here pays some guys to do nothing but stand around and scratch their arse.

Oh, OK, then I'll just stockpile some popping corn in readiness. :wink:

Yeah me too, We got a Super Walmart and its like the biggest thing around here, except the beach and the casino, so they decided that they needed to to add a new lane to each side of the road. But theyve been doing it for about a year.

Ill let ya know when I get it. :D

Fuuun. I must admit, I really like my landlord. Where I live is the investment property of my real estate agent, and he's a good guy who seems to trust me, so in the entire time I've been here, he's never once actually inspected the place formally! He's occasionally come around when work's needed to be done and seen it's all in good shape, so I guess he figures he doesn't need to do an inspection! :laugh:

Ha. The entire time I went to high school, it felt like the roads around it were under construction. As soon as one road was done, they'd tear up another one - and never in a manner that fit with what they'd just done elsewhere. It was dumb.

But I lived on the Gold Coast then, and it's quite possibly Australia's dumbest city, so ...

And my name is French!

I always wanted to learn French, but my high school only offered German and Japanese. We had a qualified French teacher, but he was also a qualified maths teacher and they employed him just to teach that. :down:

The high school just finished redoing the whole parking lot... I heard it was horror trying to get home from school during all that. Im happy i was home schooled this year. Well not really but, just for that reason. :lol: But I get to go back to real school this year!

My french teacher was so nice I loved her. I get to do French again this year! If I wouldve stayed at the high school I would've gotten to go to France this summer!

I'm just glad I'm done with high school. And left Queensland. What a waste of a few years of my life. I suppose it had to be done, but I don't have many good memories of my high school years. University isn't all it's cracked up to be either, but it's an improvement.

I cant wait for college! Im going to IU. Ash doesnt approve because its one of the biggest party schools in the US. But its also very cheap because Im an Indiana resident and its not that far from my family.

I could have gone to Germany in high school, but I passed ... a few thousand dollars was just a bit too expensive. Curse Australia being so far from everywhere!

Given your respective purity scores, I can understand why there's some disagreement. :lol:

I came to Melbourne University simply because it's one of the top 20 universities in the world, and the best one in Australia. Though I don't doubt Ali's going to chime in here and claim Monash is somehow better. :wink:
