And gliding's cool. I loved watching gliders coming in to Kapiti Airport when I was little.

Ah, cool - I haven't been to that part of the country myself. I'm very poorly travelled north of the Manawatu. Been to Taupo a couple of times, Rotorua once, flown through Hamilton plenty, and done a few short trips to Jafastan, but that's it.

And the sunset photo is beautiful.

A closer look at the Arden Street sidings. See the two tracks with the white things between the rails? That's where they plan to stable the trains. The sidings off to the left are into industrial facilities that now unfortunately don't use rail. I'd love to see some freight along the Upfield line.
