When the game begins, everything will be numbered, and if anyone wants to hear one of my songs, all the artist and song information is there to be used in concert with the save file link so . . . .

As far as deadlines go, I have a proposal. Once we have our 24th contestant, the deadline will be 3 days after then, to give that person a fair chance to make their uploads. Then we'll start the tournament the next day. How does that sound?

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I'll second this, even though my opinion really has no effect at all on the final decision.

That sounds great, Axver.

IMPORTANT: I will be sending out whatever links I have by 12 PM EST tomorrow. I won't send out any links I get after that time until the 24th contestant's links are submitted (if they submit links.)

If you are not a contestant but would like to vote, leave your e-mails !<"AFTER">! 12 PM EST tomorrow. That’s all.

Does this mean that contestants will have the opportunity to preview/listen to all other contestants tracklists before the individual heats begin?

Well...with so many entries and time on our hands we might as well let people listen to the playlists. I don't think it will affect the votes. People will probably be able to listen to more playlists this way. So yes.

Just wondering if you're going to do this in this thread or a new one, because seeing as this thread is rules and sign-up it mightn't gather much attention from people not in the contest, just my two cents

I'm not sure yet. If I start another thread the mods will probably merge it with this one. Maybe one of the mods can add "Important Voter Information" to this thread's title.

Someone should ask a mod their opinion on it, but either way the title would at least have to be changed.

No but listening to the playlists is half the fun.

We aren't allowed to post the save file links on the forum, so the easiest way you're going to get to hear the playlists you're voting on is to leave your e-mail address.
