When does this contest start again? I mean the actual voting part.

Looks like we won't have an accurate idea until someone comes along and gives us a final tracklisting and we have all the files uploaded.

I mean, isn't that meant to be the prog group after all?
Adrball's entry was a bit of a curveball because it begins with three classical peices all over ten minutes. Liamcool, Gibsongirl and myself all have multiple tracks of over ten minutes. So that's why the group is like that.

I'd like LMP and your thoughts on who should be in which group.

I just had a crazy idea. Since we have one open slot left, why not put in the last game's winning entry? Then it would be like seeing how last year's best would stand up to this year's entries.

Good idea or terrible idea?

Axver and LMP these are the groupings I came up with:

Group 1
1. Adrball
2. Gibsongirl
3. Liamcool
4. Screwtape2

Group 2
1. Irishteen
2. Lemon MacPhisto

4. Salome

Group 4
1. Axver
2. Bonoman_2002
3. InMyPlace13
4. ?

Group 5

3. LJT
4. XHendrix24

Group 6
1. Dazzingly Amy
2. Fitx Chivalry
3. Fly So High
4. Lemonchick
Here's my figures:

Group 1:
1. Axver
2. GibsonGirl
3. Liamcool
4. Screwtape2

Group 2:
1. Ard_ball
2. Bono_212

I excluded myself for the time being, but I'd put myself in the Group 5 section and shift Bono's Shades over to Group 4 if that's the case.

what do you guys think?

I missed this before, I kind of like that idea.

Everything would be even with my grouping at 5 a piece if that were the case.

Besides that though, I don't think his entry fits stylistically at all. It's pretty much the opposite of Liam's entry especially. I personally think the Axver/GG/Liam/Screwtape grouping is better because they're the four entries that contain decent amounts of prog bands. Sure, I didn't go with the long prog compositions, but about half of the bands on my tracklisting would be considered prog.

And guys, if we deviate from the four-per-group idea, won't that totally mess up our format that we created with the repechage rounds and everything? I'm sure we can find one other person to compete. PM someone if you'd like to see them throw in a tracklisting and see if they'll play! I know a couple of people made posts earlier about how much they wanted so-and-so to compete.

I like the looks of LMP's groupings, just going off what I know of everyone's tastes without actually seeing anyones tracklists.

I'd love to go up against InMyPlace13 though. Though should be interesting.

Hey, if worst comes to the worst, I can make a metal tracklisting. It'll be like having a bye without having a bye because we all know no-one will vote for it.

So, did anyone figure out how to fix the thing with the out-of-order projects? Because all my tracks are uploaded and ready to be sent to you guys, but they're all out of order in the project. Is there any easy fix to that? Or should I just sent it as is?

Just to clarify, is the deadline for the save file links tomorrow at 10 EST? Not sure if that was ever clarified or not.

I asked the "ordering" question in Music on the Internet and this is the response I received.

So I guess we're stuck with whatever order Save File deems appropriate.

Wow, if I went with their order, then that's one jacked-up playlist!!!

Well, I'm putting the track number in the "description" of all my files so it shows up beneath the song title.

As far as I know, that's all that you can really do.
