Please vote for the tracklisting you LIKE THE MOST.

Welcome to the seventh qualifying round of the Interference Desert Island Game II! The premise of this game is that all of the Interferencers have been stranded on a desert island and we can only take up to 160 minutes of music with us (either as a continuous iPod playlist or two 80 minute CDs or any other format of our choosing). The object is to see which forum member can fit the most musical goodness into these 160 minutes.

In the sixth round, XHendrix24 achieved a strong victory over Lemonchick, 26-13.

This round, Bono's shades and Irishteen will be competing for a place in the heats. Below, you will find their tracklistings. If you are unfamiliar with the songs included, we can help you hear them! Just leave your e-mail address. :)

Reminder for contestants: if there was an error on your tracklisting on the master list thread, let me know before your qualifying round so I can post the correct tracklist!

Competition master list.

Competition rules.

The competition format diagram should debut next round. Look out for it!

Have fun!

Bono's shades, there's so much more on their list that I love.

Sent it to ya again Wayne, maybe you should check to make sure it didn't go in your junkmail or something

Just to say in general I would really appreciate it if people downloaded the songs. My playlist was meant to be heard as a playlist and not in parts but if you don't have the time, I understand.

I gotta say Irishteen's playlist is really very good and well-thought out. It's just that Bono's Shades' has been one of my favorite lists since the competition started.

I voted for you  Download the songs from where?

I'll echo that. In fact, I like this more for hearing songs I haven't heard before and discovering artists I previously didn't know rather than winning the game itself.

yeah, it's my favourite part of the game, hearing new songs, and so far I've heard a lot of songs I've loved and a bunch of artists I now want to check out.

Bono's Shades. So much to love there. Gotta love the funk and soul inclusions.

And the kd lang/Roy Orbison duet! :hyper: I've been in love with that song for ages.

Went with Bono's Shades - like corianderstem said, there's just too many songs there that I know and like/love and wouldn't mind hearing them over & over. Some of my highlights:

And like Lance said, this is one of the playlists I was looking forward to in this competition

Irishteen got my vote.

Bono's Shades had much better songs but I felt that listening to Irishteen was more of an experience. Both playlists had great flow but Irishteen had Crazy Mary into Your Blue Room.

I'd like to see Irishteen's playlist go on for its unique vibe.

I went for Irishteen.

I really enjoy some songs on Bono's shades', but Irishteen had some of my all-time favourites: Hurt, Your Blue Room, and especially Disco 2000 and DIRTY BUSINESS!

 The Dresden Dolls

Was very close to voting for Bono's Shades - a lot of stuff that I've heard of and really like.

I'd heard and like a lot of Irishteen's stuff as well. Thanks to the links I listened to some tracks that had not heard before and liked.

So Irishteen gets my vote....marginally.

Both of the playlists are absolutely great. I had to go for Irishteen due to how it flows well...

Hi folks. Things aren't all too good.

New round coming now. Sorry for the delay.
