Hell, I'd still change a few songs on mine right now too.

Changing musical tastes

Both playlists were excellent.

This was tough because Lancemc had the better songs in my opinion while IMP's playlist left an impression with its atmosphere and mood. I went with IMP because it felt like a great album. It was something unique and different. That said, Lancemc's playlist was fantastic and is as deserving of a berth as any of the winners in the heats in my opinion. Great job to both of you and good luck!

I have to go with Lance, partially because he has my fave Elvis Costello song

Got to go with Lancemc's this time. Both tracklists were definitely good, but when it comes down to it Lance's tracklist had more of what I've been listening to lately (ENO AND BOWIE AND TALKING HEADS AND AHH).

Once again though, both were REALLY good, and are probably my two favorites of the competition so far.

And it looks like it's only going to get better next round.

I am going with IMP because it just flowed better for me...liked both lists, though.

Have been thinking over this one all day. There's a some stuff on both lists I'm not really fond of at all but both of them have some really quality tunes too. Imp has the great Ryan Adams, Outkast, Ray LaMontagne, Arcade Fire and Bob Dylan but then Lance has Debaser, Sufjan and The White Stripes which I also love.

This round is the toughest one yet

When listening to my playlist, listen to 17-22 (Outkast through to Death Cab) as if it's a story. I meant to include that in my paragraph.

I carefully picked each of those songs in that particular order to tell a complete story of the curve of a relationship.

Damn, these are hard!

My initial inclination is toward LMC, but IMP has much better Rolling Stones ("Gimme Shelter" my favorite RS! ) and "Slug","Theologians", Sigur Ros and TV ON THE RADIO!! TV ON THE RADIO!!!

But then that's all pitted against my all time favorite U2. And then tack on brilliant Bruce "NYC Seranade" and "The Golden Age" OH! "The Golden Age", a much, much better Arcade Fire selection, and I think the tie-breaker "When The Leavee Breaks"

I'm sorry, IMP, but I think I gotta go with LMC on this one.

I must admit. For a short while I actually considered voting for IMP's list. It's so good.

Ultimately, I had to go for IMP. Everyone here knows I'm a sucker for anything with good flow and atmosphere ... and Sluuuug.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I like more stuff on Lance's list - that's a killer Springsteen song, too. So he gets my vote.

Whoever loses this is winning the other bracket, I'm sure of it.

This is tough for me, but I'm going with IMP's
