After a month of voting, discussing, and debating, Interference has chosen the 2 CDs it would most want to have if we were stuck on a desert island with no other music to hear. And our winner, the Interferencer who the forum believes managed to cram the most musical goodness onto two eighty minute discs is ...

LemonMacPhisto!

In the final, LemonMacPhisto overcame VertigoGal by 31 votes to 20. LMP, you don't get a prize, sorry. In fact, I think you owe some of us money and food as bribes for voting for you.

But you do get to see your name at the end of this amazing work of art!

Thanks for a great competition, folks! I've enjoyed running it. If anyone else would like to run a similar competition in future, feel free.

Again, well done to our victor, LemonMacPhisto! :applaud:

Have a good one, everybody.

This was a great contest idea, and there were some really great songs I wouldn't have heard if it weren't for this. Thanks to everyone for being a great sport about this and thanks to all who voted for me, the checks are in the mail

I'm thinking it'd be an interesting idea for people to list new music they discovered and now like because of these mixes. I've heard some pretty good new stuff, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has.

i did get a good bunch of music from this contest, i'll list them later.
