This was not an easy vote...I eventually chose BIMM, though LMP including Radiohead and Springsteen was almost impossible to resist. BIMM at least had Dyaln, Costello, Wilco, Adams, V. Underground and did not have such big hits for the artist i.e. Kiss from a rose, Every little thing, One headlight, scar tissue, mrs robinson, baba o'reily which would ulitmately feel like listening to a soft rock station.

I see what you mean e2u, but they're still great songs nonetheless no matter their popularity.

Dogs? Hamster coupons? Food?

You can't buy my vote like that.

Money or nothing, people.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I agree....but take into consideration this is the music I would have to listen to forever..and I wouldn't want to be stuck with stuff I've grown sick of a long time ago

I know I'm probably alone in this, but if I was stranded on a desert island and had to listen to Elvis Costello's voice for the rest of my years . . . my years would be limited to the amount of time it would take me to run screaming to the island's beach and DROWN MYSELF!

Onward LemonMacPhisto!

Desert Island iPod? Does that mean we can submit a playlist with 4,000 songs on it?

Well, to be fair, I think the total # of songs should still be limited, but the Time Limit (80 min. x 2) requirements would be lifted!

I would want to put in some songs that remind me of my parents, as well as some "electronic/techno" songs I love, and those songs are all like 8 to 11 minutes long. "Desert Island iPod" would accomodate this without sacrificing quality for quantity.

Plus, it would spur creative thought as to how to re-charge your iPod!
