Please vote for the tracklisting you LIKE THE MOST.

Welcome to the second quarter final of the Interference Desert Island Album Game! The premise of this game is that the Interference forum has been stranded on a desert island and we can take only TWO CDs of up to 80 minutes of music each. The object is to see which member of the forum can fit the most musical goodness onto these two CDs.

In the first quarter-final, the three-way match-up almost resulted in a draw of its own, with a remarkably close result made even closer by a late surge in voting for LJT. However, the winner turned out to be inmyplace13 with 15 votes, followed by MrBrau1 on 14 and LJT on 11. This means that inmyplace13 is our first qualifier for the semi finals!

This round will determine who will face inmyplace13, and is being contested by VertigoGal and yertle-the-turtle. Below, you will find their tracklistings. If you are unfamiliar with the songs included, we can help you hear them! Just leave your e-mail address. This poll will be open for TWO DAYS.

UP NEXT: Quarter Final 3 - Souly versus Bono's shades

Competition master list.

The competition rules.

VertigoGal's inclusion of A Sort Of Homecoming and Ride's Vapour Trail has swung me in favour of her tracklisting. Plus, yertle-the-turtle's tracklisting is here instead of mine. :( That fact didn't sway my vote; it's just that besides liamcool's tracklisting, mine is the only one I'd actually like if we were stuck on a desert island. I guess my tastes aren't that compatible with those of Interference in general.

And I think inmyplace13's defeat of Brau is probably going to be the upset of the competition. I didn't expect that to happen at all!

Vapour Trail is one of my favorite songs of all time & A Letter To Elise is also, but the inclusion of any Wilco in a list makes it so I can't vote for either them. Good job, guys.

This was the hardest decision that i have come across yet............I felt compelled to vote for Vertigogal cause i missed out on voting for her before and that she had suprise, suprise U2.........and The Kinks! The Pixies:drool: CCR:drool: ...................BUT....................Yertle's inclusion of The Cardigans:applaud:The Clash ( I just realised i like bands that begin with THE  ........anyway!)The Cure  REM,The Foo's..............made it very hard not to choose Turtle's complilation!............. All i want is just at least one, damn it......one U2 song. Sorry Turtle!

Vertigogal:wink:

This is a difficult one, as for me both lists are pretty good. Thumbs up to Yertle for including the Beverley Knight song and to VG for the John Frusciante song with the weird noises at the beginning!

I can't decide, though neither of you probably want my vote seeing as that nearly everyone I have voted for in the past rounds has lost.

I decided to go with VertigoGal's tracklisting - the inclusion of Aimee Mann swung my vote

Yertle! Come on Yertle, you can still catch up! Great widespread, eclectic mix. And Pulp! That's what swung my vote. Pulp and "Like A Friend" just completely kick! If I was stranded on a desert island, I could listen to that song over and over and over . . .
