Please vote for the tracklisting you LIKE THE MOST.

Welcome to the second round of the Interference Desert Island Album Game! The premise of this game is that the Interference forum has been stranded on a desert island and we can take only TWO CDs of up to 80 minutes of music each. The object is to see which member of the forum can fit the most musical goodness onto these two CDs.

In the last round, inmyplace13 received 24 votes and namkcuR received 19, meaning that inmyplace13 progresses to the quarter finals!

In this round, tracklistings made by LJT and MrBrau1 face off against each other. Below, you will find their tracklistings. If you are unfamiliar with the songs included, we can help you hear them! Just leave your e-mail address. This poll will be open for TWO DAYS.

May God have mercy on my soul

*prays*

May a pox be upon Brau:wink:

In a sign of good sportsmanship and generally not liking the idea of voting for myself, I shall vote for MrBrau (so everyone else can vote for me:p )

I get this feeling that when my tracklisting competes, my vote will be the ONLY vote for it.

And I voted for you, LJT. Brau clearly put lots of thought into his tracklisting, but I honestly enjoy LJT's tracklisting a lot more. Quite a few of Brau's inclusions simply aren't my style, whereas the stuff by U2, Delays, The Verve, and My Bloody Valentine in LJT's tracklisting is superb. That said, I almost voted against you, LJT, just for that bloody AWFUL Prince inclusion.

I hate Prince. In fact, that's too kind; I loathe Prince. The source of his popularity is a mystery to me.

ahh well...is it wrong that I keep checking this thread every few minutes:ohmy:

I can't sleep now...too nervous:huh:

I may have to opt out of voting this round because I can't decide which tracklisting I like best.

(Edited to add I mean that in a good way.)

The fact that ‘Station to Station’ is quite possibly the greatest cocaine related pseudo ballad ever, substantially influenced my vote.

Sadly though, I was swayed by another, more tangible fact.

I vote LJT because he's got the Manics on.

I amazingly FORGOT to put them on my tracklisting.

You know they kill people in Wales for that:wink:

Both tracklistings are great again, but I'm voting for diversity mostly, and Brau's is the best in terms of that.

You all suck :grumpy:

Allow me to clarify that:

Those of you who voted for Imp suck :grumpy:

Your tracklist was better. :(

Nice to see a surge in votes for LJT while I've been out getting my computer fixed. It was 1-3 when I left, but now 7-5. Looks like we have a close round on our hands! And my computer's now running beautifully.

woo in the lead again....is it wrong that I regret voting for Brau:wink:

I have the fear:(

Edit: It was a very short lived lead:p

9 to 9 at the moment.

Voted earlier - Brau, but if you have to pick a Neil Diamond song, couldn't you have picked another one? Cracklin' Rosie

Wow, 9-10 to Brau now. This is a good, close one!

LJT - were you here all night?

:( I can't decide at all, as both are great.

Ok... I need to say something

I got a track time wrong.. and that screwed up the total lenght of my disc 1...

We Will rock you (fast) is really 3:17, not 2:48 like I found on a web site... ley me explain this

I had Queen On Fire: Live At the Bowl, but the first cd broke ... and the 2nd one I give it away. So , the exact time of the song was uknown for me... I only knew it was short, and looking for it on a website I see that it says 2:48... but then like 2 days ago I finally got the mp3... and it was 3:17... making the first CD of 1:20:08

SO... I had to rearenge the whole thing... well, not the WHOLE thing, just change some group songs from cds to have som continuity.. ending in THIS
