^^Do you not have Bonfire Night in the States??

Perhaps it is a british thing, seeing it is celebrating Guy Fawkes not burning down the Houses of Parliament.

^It is celebrated on November 5th. Guy fawkes was a historical figure who allegedly attempted to burn down the houses of parliament in England a few centuries back. He was caught. Ever since we have celebrated this by having bonfires which we burn a guy fawkes doll on and have fireworks and stuff!

^Yep, he was Fawked!

^^Usually we go to an organised bonfire as usually there are firework displays too. It is great to get all wrapped up, as it is usually cold and go with family or friends. There are often fairground rides and food stalls at the bigger events.:hyper:
