Yes, this shows in Exciter's sound, unlike the previous album where Alan was a part of.

Alan hasn't been a member since Songs of Faith and Devotion.

It clearly shows, I liked Ultra quite a bit, but SoFaD was their last great album.

IMO, DM (Who I love, huge part of my high school and college listening), haven't been relavant in a long time.

Is Exiter the one w/ Dead of Night & Dream On etc? I liked those songs alot, but the rest of it didn't do it for me.

Exciter was horrible. And yes, Alan's departure still upsets me. God I hope this new album's good

As for their previous non-Alan album - Ultra - that is extremely underrated. It's the album that got me into them.
