Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Caruso actually good during the first couple seasons of NYPD Blue? Or was he always this O.T.T.?

Also, anyone remember the remake of Kiss of Death starring Caruso and Nicholas Cage? I know there are some money lines from that one.
