Just read a feature on Daniel Craig in the paper today. Actually - I reckon he could do well. He looks the part too. And I think the fact that not many ppl have seen him in other things is a good thing.
Tho sadly, in George Lazenby's case, that didnt turn out to be true. But I think he got a bit of a rough deal.
Stepping into Connery's shoes was always gonna be hard, and for someone who's only previous acting experience, was in some t.v commercial - the odds were stacked against him from the start.
I actually think he did a good job in O.H.M.S.S - it's a great film with a wonderful storyline. If he'd been able to stick around for the next film - who knows....

Back to the original topic tho, I hope Craig succeeds in this role. He's only 37, so he's got at least another 13 yrs or so before the producers start to look around again. That's time enough to make the role his own for 2 or 3 films.
