holy shit, I love this song, it's one of my favorite radiohead tunes (and I do mean 'tunes')

I love the piano -- so upbeat... shimmering almost, and the lyrics are just right for a sing-along!!! go on, give her a try!

alright, so they're not the most uplifting of lyrics, but there is a peculiar sense of hope in the way this song is arranged, give it a try, if you don't like it, no hard feelings (but it does mean you're sub-human and you'll have to work on it)

Wanderer, couldnt agree more. Cuttooth is a most gorgeous beast of a song. It actually reminds me of Heros by Bowie. This insistent beat/piano riff (not saying Heros had piano) and lyrics about breaking free or holding on, or something.

Try listening to it while driving headlong through the middle of the city at night. It's quite a trip.

I downloaded that song, or what I thought was that song a while back and those arent the lyrics Thom sings.I actually think he sounds like Jeff Buckley in spots.
There is piano and its a real vocal tune.
The lyrics were something about
"I can't pretend
choose how it ends
you slipped away"
There's a staticy sorta guitar thing happening too.
What the hell is this song then?

Ditto. The song I have downloaded still sounds like Radiohead, but the lyrics are off.

Any thoughts as to how or why Cuttooth got left off Kid Amnesiac? It's such a beautiful song. Seems like it would have fit all right on one of the albums, but I guess the fellas didn't think so and they would certainly know better than I (as would many of you). Just asking.
