This reminds me of my friend Dan who passed away four years ago. He was the first guy to ever ask me out, and probably the funniest guy I ever met. On the night of our first date, Wonderful Tonight came on while he was driving me home. We talked forever about what a great song that was, and it was a cherished memory while he was alive as well. Now that he's gone hearing it makes it that more bittersweet, but I am grateful for the memory of such a wonderful friend.

Well, the obvious choice is Sam, since virtually every song reminds me of him, most notably: "The Scientist" by Coldplay for when we were living in seperate countries and couldn't see each other; "Everyplace We Went" by Granada because we sang it incessently when he came to the US to vist me last April; and "Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harem because he put on a cd in one of the first packages he sent me before we met and when we were just friends, and I've always loved that song and realized how much I loved him when I listened to it.

Apart from the Sam songs, "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler makes me think of Jenn (and James Walsh, Guy Garvey, and the Edge ) and all the bizarre, hilarious, and fun times we had going to concerts together a couple of years ago.
