Curious as to What Roger Daltrey is Listening to?

Found this interview w/ the former Who frontman in The New York Dailey News: (This is just one question from the piece)

What do you think of contemporary rock? Do you have any favorites?

Kaiser Chiefs, Muse, Franz Ferdinand ... there's a load of great small bands coming up in England. There seems to be a lot more anger over there — or maybe they're better at articulating it. Now Green Day — that's a great f—' band. They're great musicians, and, when they play, they mean it.

so he's not too busy pushing those lifetime magazine classic rock box sets in late-night infomercials to be hip to the current trash trends? true rennaisance man.

I like how he describes Muse as small. I don't think they could've gotten any bigger with their last album and subsequent tour!

If it weren't for Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey would be selling lifetime magazine classic rock box sets in late-night infomercials....oh....wait.

At 7:45 in "Won't Get Fooled Again" one of the greatest moments in rock history happens.

Chris Cornell should hold every title ever. He's just too goddamn cool. He's like the Boba Fett of rock. Awesome.

Me ---> <--- Cornell
