I actually looked up your website to get the exact date of its last performance, but it didn't say in the comments.... Phail.

Because it was played at the last full U2 gig - so it's currently the last performance of every song there.

Where's the Maj. to have a witty response to this? I've got nothing.

... I'm confused?
Or don't you list when the last time a rare song was played before that particular instance...

I list the last performance of every* song as long as its last performance was not at the most recent full concert, because by default the most recent full concert is going to be the last performance of just about everything on the setlist. The only songs played at 2006-12-09 that have been played more recently are Vertigo and Streets.

*By "every", I really mean "all those I've done so far, as I have done this fairly ad hoc rather than systematically, but I've gotten through most album songs by now".

Awesome.

I think Dogs is the pick of the bunch, though there are plenty who'd disagree with me. The last couple of minutes are just amazing.

Oh, I agree.

pfan, although Animals is a classic, Wish You Were Here might have been a better one to go to next after Dark Side. In fact, that way you'd go in order, too.

But either way, they are both incredible.

And that's my cameo post for the morning...

Yeah, I think he should do WYWH before Animals too, but when this came up on a previous thread, I was drowned out by a chorus of "go Animals" folk, along with Screwtape's "WYWH is the worst song in history" argument.
