Appropriately, I am listening to Joy Division's Day Of The Lords.

I feel so proud of our country for producing such a fine cricketer.

Wow, Daniel's bowling well.

Though we all know even I am a better cricketer.

Another wicket to Vettori, Andrew Symonds caught by Flintoff!

Wow, Danny's bowling nicely. 7 overs, 1 maiden, 2 wickets for 20 runs.

Yes, the New Zealander is doing well, which means you can support him.

Whereas if he were playing crap, he's promptly forgotten.

But I jest, I jest. Or maybe I'm not. Anyway I'm going to see if my local TV channel is carrying this in a super small screen in a video mosaic.

Danny's never crap.

In fact, he just got his third wicket!

I think you have the wrong Kiwi poster. Timo is Mr Fairweather, just like all of his fellow Aucklanders.

FOUR to Vettori! Hussey 32 (44), caught on the rope by Pietersen.

Vettori's bowling superbly today.

Vettori's final figures:

10 overs, 1 maiden, 4 wickets for 33 runs.

 Amazing.

I hate Channel Nine for cutting to news with just ONE OVER to go.

Daniel Vettori batting :droolinaheterosexualway:

What's really annoying is that here on the Gold Coast, they actually cut away at 5:30 for the local news programme - but I also pick up an NSW version of Channel Nine so I could watch the next half hour.

Cricket >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(^infinity) Mindless 'news' from Channel Nine

The only channel with news worth watching is SBS.

Well, I see the World XI has lost an early wicket and McGrath's currently on form ...

Hey Axver... riddle me this... whom did Bono call on ZooTV New Zealand?

Christchurch: An MP, I forget his name.
Auckland: A guy whose house overlooked the concert.

And the World XI is a bit shaky, 3/50! Danny may get to bat!

I'm not liking the amount of wickets falling, especially compared to the amount of runs scored ...
