Legendary rock trio Cream, who earlier this year reunited for a series of London shows, will take over New York City's Madison Square Garden during a three-night run in October.

The concerts are set for Oct. 24-26, and tickets will go on sale first to American Express cardmembers beginning Sept. 12 via Ticketmaster. There will be a four-ticket limit. Any remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public beginning Sept. 19, according to a press release. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's parent company.)
In May, Cream--drummer Ginger Baker, bassist Jack Bruce and guitarist Eric Clapton --played four reunion shows at London's Royal Albert Hall, which is the site of what, at the time, was believed to be the group's final concert in 1968. The reunion performances will be documented on a forthcoming DVD and CD due in stores Oct. 4. In addition to live footage, the DVD will also include interviews with all three band members.

The setlist from the May reunion shows is posted at Cream's reunion website.

Formed in 1966, Cream produced three studio albums: "Fresh Cream" (1966), "Disraeli Gears" (1967) and "Wheels of Fire" (1968). Prior to the London reunion shows, the band members last performed together during the group's 1993 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

i guess that is cool. what kind of shape are these guys in? I mean, 1968 was a long time ago. We've seen Clapton, but what about Jack and Ginger?
