i tried to like the Killers! I really did. Mr Brightside is a good song, I'll concede, but All These Things That make a long song title turned me off.

LeMel, I'm trying to round out my DI list and in one section, I've got Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, and Modest Mouse and I'm trying to find another artist like them. Ashley and John (irishteen) have mentioned the Smiths and Radiohead. Any others I should give a shot?

In another section I've got Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and the Doors. I need another prog/art rock act like that.

Help, pls. kthnx.

No, no. They regained popularity in the mid-80's, but in their late-70's heyday they were heavily influenced by Zeppelin and other riff-rock.
