Just a quick hello, heading off for breakfast. Apologies for just leaving last night! I had a horrid headache and the only thing that helped was tylenol pm, but boy do those things knock me out.

History News Network

This article pretty much gives it a kick in the nuts, and is enjoyable to read. But I love weird things like this. Not to the extent that I think aliens arrived on the moon to build Stonehenge and send it to Earth, but well, I would really like to think the Phoenicians came to Australia, for example.
well looks like really shoddy claims, but nothing has been disproved i'd say from my quick scan. i may or may not go see it, depends on where else i go, money, timing, variety of factors. one friend of mine who worked for the icty in sarajevo for a while said i should go so...we'll see.

Good to hear!

I'm doing pretty well myself. Just another quiet evening, I suppose.

It'd be the only culture this country has ever had.

(Yeah, you saw that coming, I know.)

hahahahhahahahhahahahahahha timetables and stations.

there aren't really any accessible timetables. you have to call a station or agency and they don't usually speak english. occasionally something is online but it is hard to find and maybe accurate maybe not. i know when my bus leaves tomorrow morning, from there i will inquire at the station for my next bus, and so on ad nauseum.

my rules are: inquire upon arrival about departure, or about daytrip schedules. and never arrive somewhere at night without a booking already made. (i made this mistake once in slovenia and it cost me a good 40 euros for a hotel room and an scary hour where i contemplated sleeping in an open storage shed i found.

Right, well I think it'd be pretty cool to visit even as a natural hill, but yeah I wouldn't be in any rush, especially if you've got other things planned.

Quiet evenings can be good.
Especially for reading and nerding out.

Oh god! I don't think I could handle that. I need my transport certainty. Good luck with all of that. Is public transport well used there?
