Counting Crows Album Rumors?

"Omaha" just shuffled up on my ipod and it got me thinking (inspite of the fact that I am not a big fan of their recent stuff), it has been a REALLY long time since Counting Crows put out a new album.

In 2003 they put out their greatest hits album Films About Ghosts, but its been since 2002 that they have put out a new album.

So, has anyone heard any rumors about the band doing a new album? Did they break up? Are they dead? Anyone?

I don't know, but I haven't really gotten into them since their second album. Those first two are terribly good.

I hope they can get away from writing pop songs and get back to making good albums.
